Mboya now deceased, Tom Mboya’s widow wrote to Kofi Annan in 2008 as he
was mediating peace in Kenya. Part of the letter read; “The
assassination of my husband, like others after him, is a matter that has
remained shrouded in mystery and speculation, and which has been
avoided by successive regimes in this country...”
Later she promised to drop the bombshell in an interview but later changed her mind. This is most probably what she was so hesitant to reveal.
